Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

    Stalling

    my cb7 has been doin this for a while and i thought it was because of my idle problem, but its a stalling problem. its mostly wen im crusing that it will stall down at around 2-2500 rpms. I thought it was the lock up clutch (forgetting the exact name but auto trans) because it would happen after 4th gear but now i see it happening in lower gears. I dunno if its teh idle problem wit my FITV n IACV even tho i changed them with used parts but what else can it be. im on Accordtuner and they say it can be the plugs and other people say it could be the distributor cap.

    have you had a tune up lately? you know, new cap,plugs, rotor button, wires, oil change, air filter replaced/oiled....

    hell while you're at it, change out the fuel filter.

    umm what's your tach doing? is it bouncing around when it starts to stall?

      its not bouncing but i usually cruise at 3000 rpms, but wen i start cruisin it just drops down to 27, then after a while 25, then jumps around between 25 n 22 unless i start 2 floor

        well we can rule out that it isn't the igniter about to take a shit on you.

        check your tranny fluid see what condition it is.

          my tranny is fine... i changed the fluid about a month or 2 ago b4 this started 2 happen. i kno for a fact is not the tranny, i wanna say its the engine because if its revving akward because of my idle issues...

            hmm ever had the EGR ports cleaned out???

            its one of those problems that can be caused by so many different things. best thing to do is think/look back at what you have done as far as tune-ups and or repairs. then go from there.

            otherwise you will get people just throwing ideas at you and it will be such a wide range, it will be almost pointless.

            thats just IMO
