Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

    Secondaries wiring?

    I have recently swapped in an a6 from an auto cb7, and my car used to be an a1 5spd i was wondering where to wire the "pink" wire from the iab secondaries if I reused the a1 engine wire harness and the a6 ecu, also I have a black/red wire in pin a17 plus it doesnt seem to open them when connected is there another place for that signal to come from? I remember when hooking up my wideband I had different wire harness than some other members that used the same wideband?!! Oh and my car is still a 5spd lol!

    are you sure its pin A17? are you reading the pinouts properly??

    thats how the pins read when looking at the ecu. the pink wire goes to A17 and the black/yellow wire can be spliced to a yellow *switched ignition* wire.
    F22a1-->F22A-->H22A-->auto-2-5spd-->K20 6spd-->F22C 6spd RWD-->4G63 6spd AWD-->K24 6spd????

      the ecu's A harness goes 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 on the top then on the second row its
      14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26

      Right? so if it is on the second row and 4th from the end i am right!
      I need feed back please!

        Wrong, read the previous post. Odd numbers are on top, even on bottom. Pink to A17 other wire to switched 12V ignition.

        ...adjust accordingly

          hmm, i got cha now, but if you open the ecu it has numbers beside
          the #1 pin and at the other end of the top it has a #13 and on the bottom 14 and 26! printed on the circuit board in white! that would explain why theres two ways to look at the pinning!
