Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

    f series info??

    As yall may or may not kno I'm trying to do a f23 swap on my f22a4. And I'm just wondering what can stay and what has to go on my stock engine. Headers? Intake mani? Dizzy? Remember got a 90 swaping in a 00' f23 head need some more info thanks for all yalls help

        Reason 1 - F23 has never ran right in a cb that I have seen
        Reason 2 - People use the F23 block to make G22 and boost it.
        Reason 3 - There has only one person that has done this swap and in the end he himself said it wasnt worth it. He sold the motor and bought a JDM F22B.

              You use the f23 block and use the h23 head.

              F23 block is 86mm bore and 97mm stroke.

              And dont they call it the "G23"

                    F23 head = F22B1 head. Both are crap. You will gain about 5hp, if that. Your F22A head flows better.

                    Another victim of the VTEC gimmick.

                      WOW!!!!!! THANX FOR HELPING ME ON MY INFO. AGAIN I'm doing this to make it my D.D. Cause I bought the motor and my head is fucked. Just want to kno wat can stay and wat can go. Just finished taking off the f23 head like 10 min ago. Might put up pics up later.

                        since you have an f22a4 it would have been better to get a f22a6 head since your head is messed up anyway. like Deev said, the f22 heads flow better. plus with the f22a6 head w/ cam youll get a lil bit more HP out of it.

                        then if you do a IM swap from the f22a6 then youll get more HP out of it also.
