Royal Purple

Okay... i was going to buy some oil for my car the other day and I ran across "Royal Purple" it was the highest oil on the shelf. So me thinking WTF i pick it up and read the back, then compared it to other brands. This "RP" apparently does alot more for the engine than others but, has anyone ever used this and actually had some of the results it claimed? or has anyone ever used it at all?

if you have leaks or high mileage oil eatin engine it ill leak more eat more
but i rock the stuff and i think its great, above all others ive trie.

I use it on my H22A. IF you have leaky seals I dont recommend using it. I recommend fixing those first before using it. Because if your leaking its just money dripping away.

I would say get it man..... I don't treat my ride like a lady.... I'd say more like a call girl..... You get what you pay for with RP.....lol I used it in my old CB and 87 Stang 5.0 the stuff works man...... For some people better than others..... But like they said fix leaks first...

does oil really matter??? i know i use synthetics, but in my camrys that i use SUPERTECH in, they all running well over 2xxxxx miles........ i think if your gonna spend the money on synthetic oils, you could buy oil for the next few oil changes already, and have one every 3000 miles....... which would be a lot better then running synthetic oils for 6000 miles or more...... oil is oil.....

for instance my dsms!!!!! always gettin castrol syntec and amsoil...... still breakin down before the 3000 mile mark!!!! lol.......

My brothers STi had a knocking noise when using moble 1 and then he used rp and it went away.

Royal Purple in the RX-7, costs me 5.99 (not $7). Didn't feel a difference from the previous synthetic oil that was in it.

well i have never used it before, but http://www.royalpurple.com/tpr1/tpr1p1.html says taht it increases 1.9 hp. so im thinking by changing brand of oil, you can get more horsepower? anyways hope this helps.

RP rocks I gain about 1mpg and I love the fact you can run so long with a oil change just change the filter every 3000.

Personally I dont really care if it gains hp if it does woopdeedoo but I dont feel aynthing on my butt dyno. i just use it because it works.

i use Rp in my tranny- seems to make it shift smoother works good imo
