ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

    Question about F20A engine ?????

are the f20a engines any good and do they fit in a 90 lx trim

88mm crank and yes a f20A/B will fit in a CB7. Just think do you want to rev higher or sacrifice reving for TQ its just one of those things man.

People have put it in the car and havent seen anyone complain. You can get more torque out of a 2.2L vs a 2.0L. Its the no replacement for displacement theory which is true.

          well which f20a r u talkin about.
          dohc or sohc

i have the sohc and i feel a diff, i feel more tq at low rpm and mid range.and i also feel my car gaining more of a revv at the high end compared to the f22a motor. but i like the high end power its not 2 bad. but its pretty much the same motor as f22a

I am currently running a F20A DOHC motor with the matching transmission and it is great!

much smoother than the original F22 clunker.

it is a relatively revy motor, the torque sweet spot is a little higher, but it sounds really nice ...

the matching tranny isn't that bad either, I can drive around in 5th gear all day.

              I would recommend it.

I want a 81mm crank but that when I get my dream job or something. But no I dont think that its a bad motor and Im sure it can haul its just me personaly have a 3000LB car and want to keep it that way. F20A's are for turbo in IMO.
