Ok just got my cb7 not to long ago. Wen I first got it it was running fine and good, then the shyt hit the fan. The tranny started to grind in second (think its the syncros goin bad) the I noticed some oil leakage near my dizzy ask a friend he said it was the O ring, so I replaced it. Then I noticed my valve cover was leaking oil onto the headers, so changed ALL the gaskets in and around the valve cover. So were ok? Wrong one day the car wouldn't start, heard some clicking sound comeing from the fuse box inside the car. Did some looking around and found out it was my starter relay clicking, so went shopping and got some relays and replaced mine, but nogo still nuthing. Good thing my car is manual, its a bitch push starting my baby lol. So back to my valve cover again I noticed some more leaking so I checked it again, I took out the spark plug wires and seen that there was oil dripping from the wires (not just drip, drip but kinda pouring back into the valve cover. So ask around and some people said my head might be warped . So thinking that I might as well up grade to a better motor (h22 out of my price range) I found this fourum called tamparacing.com(mainly deals wit civics and acura not a lot wit accords lol) and found a f23 f/s for 450 so I bought it. Sound good at the time, but later found out it was 0bd ll and not compadible* with my car. And I'm out 450 lol. I've been trying to sell it or trade it for an F22b 94-97 but no luck wit it. Now the car is just sitting in my drive way flat tire, front two windows down won't come back up at all, might need a new rotor cap (least of my worries lol). And the grand finally the place I bought it from says to fixmy car it will be $80 an hour for an 8-10 hr job, and get this its not even paid off wow!! If ur local send me some advice or even some offers (lol), if yall want. Located in central florida (lakeland) tampa/orlanda area. ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!
Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956
Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)
Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.
These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.
1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.
2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.
3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.
4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.
The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.
The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Well my first bit of advice you're already following. Sell that F23. You could use it but I think it would be more cost effective to buy an F22 head. Even if you don't get what you paid for out of it, it's money back in your pocket and a boat anchor out of your driveway. Then, you have two options as of that point. First, you could buy an F22 head and have a valve job done on it and replace the seals. Or, you could use this opportunity to upgrade either by milling the head while it's off(also requiring an adjustable cam gear) or replacing your head with an F22B DOHC head and doing any number of those things previously mentioned on the factory head.
EDIT* I guess I didn't even think of resurfacing the head you already own. Or while you're at it, mill it about .02 inches. Then get the cam gear to re-time it. This way you're spending the minimal amount of money to see if you still have a working car.Last edited by Jarrett; 05-14-2007, 02:00 AM.My Members' Ride Thread - It's a marathon build, not a sprint.
