ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    single windshield wiper conversion

has any body done it and can i get a list of stuff i would need to do it

I THINK you just remove the drivers side arm and put that arm and a bigger blade on the passenger's side. That's how i've seen it done (although this wasn;t a cb7)

If you do it, write a DIY

yea all you do is take one off, put the other in its place and crash your cb when it pours buckets and the system designed to remove excess water from your windsheild fails miserabley to have a cool windshield wiper mod.

Na but for real some civic dudes told me it wasnt worth it, for shows maybe but not for DD.

x2 to what has already been said.. I used to have only one wiper arm so I had a setup like that.. I hated it.. As soon as I found one at a junkyard I did away with the single wiper setup.. It had to be positioned just right or you were missing half of the windshield, and in a downpour you can use as much of the windshield cleared as possible especially when your attempting to drive on the highway.. I would NOT do it unless you really think it looks that cool and you arent worried about driving in the rain with half of the windshield still covered in water even with the blade in the center.. It will still only clear so much of the windshield and from my experience that was NOT enough.. Later

i SHOULD be mad at this thread since technically the guy was asking for help, not all your personal opinions. But since safety is a factor on this one i'll let it slide. Just be careful.

i wasn't being harsh. Alot of things are said in here that didn't need to be, for example, everyone's personal feelings on what he wants to do. However, since there were alot of safety warnings involved ,i'm ok with the little bit of opinion thrown in also. Just saying be careful. I don't need 20 members coming in here saying how stupid a uni-wiper looks. That doesn't help anything

ya so i have it done. as said above no money needed aside from the bigger blade. how i positioned it? turn your wipers on and stop them and the point of return. thatll get it done. as far as being able to see. ya its rough, not to mention that my passengers bitch about the wiper being in their way when its not raining. have fun, but ya caution is the word of the day.

i have done it and it's not the old school style.

mine actually gets a about 160 degree.

i will do a write up with Ronald and make a video of it in action when i get my car back.

Thanks to Ronald for the great picture.
