ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

Im no expert but thats a pretty broad question.....

that would most likley depend on whats been done.

I believe base HP for the a1 is 125...might be wrong.

Read Hondafan81 all motor build. And the other question is how much you are willing to spend. Hondafan81 has a whit and red project both are good builds.

Don't know exactly what you mean in terms of extracting power (whether you are talking just bolt-ons or real engine work)...... check out HondaFan81's projects using the SOHC F Head and Block:

        White Project

        Red Project

Red project is probably a more realistic goal for someone looking to maximize F series SOHC power without paying HUGE sums of money.

when you build an a1 it will lose the parts that make it an a1 lol...

without major internal work i would like to say 150 whp is achievable. assuming your motor is in good shape.

that would include cams, intake and exhaust manifolds, chipped ecu, ported intake manis and TB. 2.5 inch exhuast no cats....

still i dont think it would hit 150 wheel but you would be close...

i'm talking about REAL engine work and bolt on's, plus i dont really care if it remains an "a1" just want the best performance from that particular block...

Im pretty sure you dont need the whole motor....just the A6IM and such....swap them bishes.

                  A6 swap

I think someone on here wrote that up....either way bam swap an a6 for your a1 and youll recieve a generous bonus of additional Airflow!!!!

with major internal work alot of hp could be achieved, i cant give you a number becasue i have no idea but somethnig like this

                    bisi 11:1 pistons
a different cam (not sure which would be good but one for higher revs)
                    eagle rods
                    oversized flat top valves
                    some sort of valve springs
                    advanced timing
                    93 octane
                    Ported Head
                    h23 intake manifold
                    PNP the intake manifolds
kamakazi header (i dont know if they make one for the f22) any 800 dollar header lol
                    Chipped ecu
                    lightened and balanced crank

i could see 200 whp but this number could be more could be less. the price on that would be so rediculous id rather just buy a TL.
