Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

    Speed Sensor Ebay vs Auto Parts store

    where should i buy my speed sensor, it runs for about 40 dollars on ebay, and 170 at my local auto parts. i dont know what to do? help!!!!!!!!

    well u get way u pay for on ebay i learned my lesson last week with that bull shit. but when i bought it i new it was cheapy so it was my fault really

    i rather buy it on ebay tho than a part store jus cuz the price.

        i bought a VSS from ebay from DrAutoparts. i think i only paid like 34 bucks and it came with a life time warranty.

            yeah, I agree. I bought one from the parts counter at the Honda dealership. it's not that its a particularly hard piece to replace, but the real Honda one is generally good for 200k + in my experience, whereas I know a few people with the aftermarket ones that have to replace theirs every year or so. It'll pay for itself eventually.

              hey i bought the ebay vss and it worked fine... i have no problem with it... it saves you alot of money in the long run

                    i hope you bought it from that Drautoparts because of the lifetime warranty.
                    although the only thing that worries me is, it's not really a lifetime warrranty if the company goes out of business. LOL.

                      i bought a VSS off ebay for 36$ installed it work's perfectly and came with a life time warranty so cant go wrong there i guess?
