ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.
2 of 2 < >

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

There is a large sweeping onramp on the way to the city, anyway, I'm looking forward to zipping around it at 130 kph to see if I can feel any improvement with that swaybar

those jackstands were created by mother nature, boys...cheap, recyclable, reusuable and if the garage gets cold, they make a great heat source as well
              (what is FTW??)

The new brakes feel pretty good...I drove like 50 km and boy were the rear wheels hot and the fantastic smell of brake dust surrounded my car. So, I loosened off the E-brake adjuster and they seem just fine now.

As for that swaybar which I NEVER had before, on that sweeper my ass end kicked out --that has not happened before-- but I think it's holding the car better just exposing the limits of my Dunlop Graspic GS1 Snowtires.

i'd have to invest a lot, coz my CB1 didnt come with the swaybars, heck, there arent any mounting points too

just swing by a salvage yard and grab yourself a crossmember or you could get one of those aftermarket ones where they don't used the factory mounting points. I think Suspension Techniques is the one i'm talking about.

                              Hey Jeff

                              How's it goin?

That's an awesome setup of the rear discs man!

I do have plans sometime in the future of doing that swap but first I need

                              more HP.

I like the fact that you took the time to clean and paint the setup to make it

bling before bolting it on.... YEAH.

                              Great job

P.S. I do like your professional DIY jackstands considering where your car

sits on the ground yeah those steel ones would go right through

                              your "driveway" LOL

                              Work safely.

                              -Mike

                                thanks for the compliments Mike...

man, I can't wait for winter to do e-brake slides in the snow....

i'm really happy with the brakes now. I just gotta get some GR8 pads for it all. I'm gonna go with Hawk...Finally got a quote for EBC...30 bucks more so I heard that the Hawk's will do the job very well.

You need HP? You need stopping power before GOING power.

                                see ya
