Alright, more than likely the following will mean nothing with out a picture. I am getting my sister's camera tomorrow, so i will have a picture up then.
Anyway... My car won't hold a charge. I mean for more than 20 minutes tops. I just replaced the old battery with a new Napa battery. I am going to check my alternator terminal to the battery and my cables. Today I was cleaning the engine because I forgot my Ohm meter at my other house, when I came across a thin box completely covered in what seems to be 15 years of grime. This little box is bolted to the passenger side wall of the engine bay. It is connected via four little wires to a cluster of wires coming off of the main fuse box. I cleaned it off, to reveal a clear encasing, and inside it held a couple strips of metal, which reminded me of a fuse...only this "fuse" is about 5 times larger. These strips of metal are severely broken and on the top and bottom the "fuse" seems to be blown.
I do not know if this serves any bit of help to those technically and patiently inclined members here. I should have a picture up tomorrow night. I was wondering if this "fuse" could be responsible for the loss of charge.
Thanks and sorry guys.
