ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

I thought that was sort of the point of this section. Granted, users with any number of posts should search for the answers to their questions before asking but still, this is the beginner section.

As for the engine, I've never heard of that designation(not to say it doesn't exist) but please post a link and I or someone else can answer your question a little bit better.

Then search for an F23B and let me know what you come up with.

The reason why i came up w/ this swap is because i figured the engine would be up to date. I'm still searching but i kind of figured maybe somebody else on this forum came up w/ the idea.

Noobs telling noobs to search. What the hell is this world coming to.

The engine will fit, as will the tranny, and the harness will have to be changed or modified.

I dont think it has been done, as the twin cam swaps are well, more bang for your buck.

                F23B?

I've never heard of it... it's probably very rare, but if it's SOHC it's no better than a USDM F23A SOHC VTEC most likely... unless you're getting it for cheap I'd pass

F23A block + F22A1 head + F22A6 cam + H23A intake manifold + Megan Racing header = best SOHC bang for the buck

Well I was searching for engines online and I came across tigerjapanese.com and the engines wasn't that expensive including shipping (I'm in NY) So I was trying to save some money which the engine and shipping would come close to $800.

Never heard of it also. What power is it making? Plus If he searched I doubt he would find anything on that motor on this site. I never even heard of it. Whats the power output on the thing?

NO USDM F series Accord came with a DOHC engine.

Any F or H series engine will fit, aside from the S2000 engines. The OBD2 engines (1996 and newer) will require additional steps to properly wire them up. For a 150hp engine, it's just not worth that extra work, IMO.
