Building the bottom end for turbo

so what im getting out of this thread is this...
buy forged pistons for my current block
new main bearings...
headwork...
if the crankshaft and rods are already forged then can i use the rods in it now with new pistons? those bastards are expensive! getting 250+ HP would be my goal would that do it @ x amount of boost? say 10 if its 10hp per 1lb boost.

if a 14b turbo will push around 250hp at 10psi
what is the difference in a t3/t4 turbo at 10psi
ive been thinking it over and have decided to go with forged pistons, arp headbolts, and headwork done at a local shop. the turbo kit im looking at is t3/t4.

they are bacically the same. i think the t3 might be slightly bigger. just the dsm 14b bolts up to the f22a with some drilling on the exhaust mani.

yea thats what we bacically are saying. the piston rings blow from the psi in the cylinder, and the bearings blow from the psi applied to them.

You need to stop giving anyone advice. 90% of things you say are wrong.

You cannot just say t3/t4 because there are a lot of variations of that turbo!

There are some that are just as small as a 14b and some bigger than your chest.
