91 swap question

My friend and I are picking up a 91 lx and are planning to do a swap in it. I was curious about the parts we will need and choice of motor and tranny.
We want to have DOHC VTEC but also want an auto. I would prefer manual but he is going to be driving it more and prefers the auto. Can I get a H22 with an auto? I know I can get the F20B with auto but the H22 has more power. Do most of those auto trannys have the sport shift?

Also we want to change it over to 92-93 bumpers and trunk lid. I was also thinking about black housing headlights. Are the 1pcs headlights pricey and hard to get? I had a DA and the lights were easy to get for them I was wondering if it was the same.

Besides the motor, what other parts are needed for those swaps and are they pretty much drop in? I have a 96 EK and I know that the b16A2 is pretty much straight forward for that when I have the money for that.

I know there is a motor thread here but I want to know some more specific questions about them, because I have heard the swap is fairly simple and also kind of complicated.

H/F trannies are all interchangeable. Sport shift is pointless. Search ebay for headlights that should tell you they run in the 200+ range.

And I looked there. It told me nothing about an auto tranny.

ALSO my question was about the availability of the JDM 1pcs NOT the black inner housings.

All the questions you told me to search for were not questions.

Let me paraphrase them for you.

1. What auto tranny would be best for the H22 and why is sport shift junk?
2. Which motor is more practical the F20b or the H22 with the auto?
3. How hard are the JDM lights to get?
4. The motors are pretty much drop in right? (besides wiring, No fabrication)

yes theres an auto tranny for the H22. theres a engine important company in Canada that sells tranny and motor for 1100 bucks.

1. Sport shift is not worth it because of all the extra modification unless you want to do it. Its easier and cheaper to buy an LSD h22 auto trans with the TCU

2. Depends on the user.

3. As I said look on ebay they are on there....I wasnt talkin bout the projectors...IF you cant find them you got issues type in cb3/7 and something will pop up...

I wasnt asking to be spoon fed, the auto question was a pretty legit one in my book. I didnt see anything in the swap thread about the trannys just 5spds. As for the last question, I have never done a swap before so I dont quite know how "easy" the link makes it seem. I have only noticed the 1pcs lights on a few importer websites when I was looking for DA and EK parts.

Thanks for the info. My buddy is picking up the 91 next week. We just want the most bang for the buck and it not to be so difficult to install. So it sounds like it will be a H22.

Im trying to talk my friend into a 5speed but that means we will have to do an auto to manual swap. I know that the swap itself is work and the manual is worth it, but he loves auto accords. He has owned 5 of them I think but just used them for a DD and fixed them up a little.

Now I am confused, we keep getting conflicting info about which engine to go with, the H22 is the best all around right? I havent searched yet but is there a thread for a rear disc brake conv.?
