Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

    Used DC header=headache

    So I bought a DC header from some one here on the forum...
    Bought It 'cause I thought it was CARB Exempt. He said it was too.
    Theres no CARB # plate welded on the top of the header just "DC SPORTS " logo. I cant get a sticker cause I need the copy of the original invoice/proof of purchase. what should I do at smog time?

      well , u hafta keep your stock Exhaust Manifold. Just swap this then swap that

        IIRMC, you can call/email DC sports and get another sticker that you place underhood.....

          maybe a a4/a6 stock heatshield could be placed over it then there wouldn't be a problem. only thing is mounting it

            hmm this is wierd I just saw like 8 banned members, and I didnt even do anything wrong yet it said for a minute i was banned.

                  be creative, I highly doubt they'll even say anything about it. heck just make a bracket and put the stock heat shield back on.

                    I agree. Just cover it up with the stock heat shield and they'll never know. You KNOW they don't wanna take the time to look under that to see if its really stock or not, lol.

                      Ya i had the same problem with my headers as well, I bought the headers but they were one piece and they didnt pass smog what so ever Then I bought a 4-2-1 set of headers and they had no tag on it still, so I emailed DC, and they send out a paper for the smog to confirm that they are smog legal. You can give that a try if u got the time.

                          Im going to try to email DC sports, yet I have no way of proving I bought them, and if that doesnt work, heatshield FTW!

                            i told you i would look for the sticker since i never used it. i have a feeling its in my trunk somewhere but the car is at my dads since i did my swap there. next day i will be there is wednesday.

                            not sure why u had to make this thread.

                            i even told u to email DC sports and ask them for a sticker. or at least see what they say.

                            and for the record DC 4-2-1 ceramic headers for the F22s ARE carb legal. so its not like i was feeding you some line just to make a sale.

                              no disrespect to any of you not to say who was right or who was wrong, but I have gotten screwed over before because I "closed" a transaction with "unfinished business" so its good have a deal sealed signed delivered without any strings attached! I have bought a lot of things from people off this site and so far I have been lucky and havent been screwed over thats why i love this site so much. good luck with the smog test! someone here will get you straight with that!

                              but I know its a little off topic but I think its important info for people who dont know!
