ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    please help

*first post* Hi everyone~ nice to meet all of you.

Kinda sucks that my first post is asking for help and on second day of ownership.

I picked up a 90 accord coupe and just today the clutch pedal suddenly went limp (no resistance). could not get car into any gear. Yesterday, the car ran fine for about an hour just cruising around.

this has happened to me before but with another car.
anyways, the master clutch cyl. reservoir was empty so i refilled it gave it a few pumps and nothing. brake fluid doesn't go down. could it be clogged?
when i had my other car i refilled the reservoir and after a few pumps i would get resistance again (not actually bleeding the system)...

btw nothings leaking (master, slave, clutch pedal rod)

anyway, i know i have to either replace the master or slave but i still wanna
    drive it to the shop...

    thanks in advance

Re bleed the system and see if it goes down. IF all else fails could just be a bad MC.

hi, i didn't actually bleed the system... i checked to see if theres a DIY guide here but i couldn't find it. does anyone have it?

can't seem to find the bleeder valve where exactly is it?
the smaller resevoir was the one that was empty.

      am i confusing you?

the smaller resevoir is for the clutch.

bleed the clutch system by going to the slave cylinder and you'll see the bleeder right on that.

right in front... open your hood and look straight down you'll see it, it has a hard hydraulic line going into it.. you bleed it from up top

Very true. I've heard everything from 16 to 34 mpg. Personally I average 26 to 27 mpg for any giving tank of gas. Lots of variables.

And there's a stickie or thread somewhere on checking ECU trouble codes.
