ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

No offense to the CB guys (me included) but the HX civic will get much, much better gas mileage than a CB ever will. As posted earlier this model civic will consistently get more than 40 mpgs - even close to 50 at times! If you are concerned about that then it is a no brainer. Gas around here jumped more than $.30 cents yesterday - not too big of a concern if you are getting 45 mpgs.

My sister has a 2000 Civic LX sedan and I was doing some comparisons

I've been doing research on the car and everywhere I read says it has a vtec...but today I checked out the car(couldn't drive it cause the guy wasn't around) but I decided to pop the hood, and I didn't see vtec written anywhere. Did Honda always write vtec on their motors or do you guys think it possibly has a different motor? The guy didn't know when I talked to him the other day, he said it was like that when he got it. Thanks alot for the feedback

look for the vtec solenoid on the left side near the valve cover, I think my bro's 98 ex with vtak doesn't have it displayed on the valve cover

on the stairs, she grabs my arm, says whats up,
where you been, is something wrong?
i try to just smile, and say everything’s fine.

I think that last image is a b16, but it will look pretty much the same.

i would honestly say...i would get both....and gas millage is the shit on the civic...i honestly own a 94 civic coupe ex...wich i got for free....a 93 integra and a 93 accord ex....well compared all of em...nothing tops my DA...but honestly, I can't feel anything when the vtec trigers on the eg....and it isn't really that quick...made a friend drive the eg and raced against my cb with me driving the cb...i took it like nothing....but.....as for gas millage....or getting some attention from the ladys...for daily drive to work or school....civics is the way to go...
