question about JDM headlight swap

my old USDM lights used the 9005 and, 9006 bulbs, and my new JDM ones use the H1 and, H4 bulbs, does this require me to get an HID kit???

no, just gotta cut the old plugs and wire the jdm plugs for the h4 & h1 bulbs

could still get HID's if you want though, you'll just have to get them in H1 and H4 bulbs
