ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

well of course your car is going to die after you go under zero rpms. lol but I dont see how a new header would do that.. have you tried installing the stock header on and see if it still does it?

diagnose your CEL , but like said above it could be your o2 sensor

Just dont let it go under ZERO rpms.

And check your O2 sensor... its the one thing you took off from the stock header that had a wire on it. Unless you knocked something loose when taking off the stock header NOTHING but the o2 sensor could be the cause.

But seriously its gotta be the O2 sensor or you knocked something loose when installing it.

Then there is always the chance you didnt put the O2 sensor on the new header that little plug needed to be removed and replaced with the sensor from the original.

Do you see the ENGINE light come on when your driving?
We need alittle more information to help you.
I cant Slam further. The ground refuses to get any lower.

Make sure everything is bolted up properly, gaskets are in, o2 sensor is in correctly and the other hole is plugged if that applies to your header. I dont see why your car would stall out because of a header install.

The after market header likely has 2 O2 sensor holes. Which did you use

The top one or the bottom one? In other words, did you use the one on the header pipe or the one on the down pipe. You should use one that samples every cylinder, i.e. where all the gases converge, or simply, the bottom one

on the stairs, she grabs my arm, says whats up,
where you been, is something wrong?
i try to just smile, and say everything’s fine.

make sure the o2 sensor plug is snapped all the way i had that problem, but you might have blockage in the new header causing excessive back pressure. just an idea.
