I am getting sum coil overs for my 92, but for shocks all I have heard about is the yellow koni's, but everywhere i have looked i cant find any for the cb7's. I have found tokico shocks though, my question is if i cant get my hands on sum koni's are the tokico's a good substitute?

ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!
Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956
Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)
Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.
These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.
1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.
2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.
3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.
4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.
The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.
The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

You can't find any coilovers???
I just did a search thru google and found tons. what r u smokin lol.
Anyways, there are Dropzones, Skunks (pro, drag, race, drift, etc.), Tokico, Aerospeed, Ractive, Maxspeed, SPW (don't ask I dont know the actual name), Fusion from Mimo, Ground Control, H&R from Stillen, and the list goes on, I could continue forever lol.
But if you were specifying for certain ones then I missed that in your post, but other than that there are tons of coilvers out there.

Ok wait I misread the first post from you lol you wanted shocks, let me get a list for you.
OK so far Koni, KYB, Tokico, Bilstein, and a few others that seems like its not worth the trouble.
As for a few others for springs, there is Intrax, Eibach, Neuspeed, and a few others, wasnt gonna get detailed.

Your going to be using a sleeve over coil over? THose suck ass especially the ones from ebay. The ground control/koni yellow is a good combo. But full coil overs are everywhere. You just need to learn to use google.

here's one: http://www.nolimitmotorsport.com/koni/apps-Honda.html
the best thing to do is call Koni yourself and ask them for an authorized dealer near where u live....that way u know u r getting original koni's...
believe it or not...according to the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, more than 50% of auto parts in North America are fake...DEVOTE

I bought sum ossx sleeve style coil overs off of almostJDM(thanx homie), I havent messed with lowering at all so i figured id try this set up an eventually try actual full coil overs to feel the actual difference. the only thing that im looking for in the ride is I dont want the car to be stiff like a board and dont want it to bounce like cut springs (stupid people cut springs). the only suspension i've messed with is putting bilstein shocks on my gti but that's stock height so i dont have to worry bout bottoming out. an like i said im just lookin for shocks not a full coil over kit, the kits i've found numerous of but not a lot of places list the yellow koni's for our cars on their site. either way i'll just call a dealer an be safe on the buy, thanx guysLast edited by bigblue; 02-11-2007, 01:21 PM.Ohio CB7's Midwest CB7's Ohioaccords.com
