Lowering springs, stock struts, good or no?

Haha snow we dont get that in TX. However in IL kinda diff but still doesnt snow that much in Carbondale so my stance is ok. But I hate the roads here which fucks up my car more than anything. Its not a ramp you enter its a fuckin curb its horrible listening to my exhaust scratch all the damn time.

I have had mine on stock struts for about 3 years now lol. And now they are starting to go out =D. Its the greatest shit but I have the sprint blues 2.25. Dont recall of any spring that sprint makes thats 2.5" Only other spring I know of is the extreme that drops it like 3.25".

You're right, they are 2.25, thanks for correcting me on that. I've had them in my trunk for the last year so I guess my brain just rounded it out automatically. We have the same springs then, how has your experience been with them?

They are good I like them. But I would say get an aftermarket strut with them to be on the safe side. I mean I have had mine for a awhile so yea. Its kinda bouncy at times but thats because of my struts. Other than that its a nice smooth ride.

I will agree with all of these posts, it's just not a good idea, do it right the first time or don't do it at all, your just going to blow your stock shocks and then you'll be riding horribly until you can put the money together to get aftermarket ones.I know it sucks to wait, but it'll be worth it in the end

Should I just go all out and get camber kits too? It can't hurt to put them on right?

If you're going lower than 2", definitely get a camber kit. The rears can be done with washers (there's at least one DIY for that). Many people don't recommend the ball-joint style kits, because the ball-joint shouldn't really be replaced (the whole A arm should be replaced when the joint goes bad). Still, there are many people who use them with no problems. The anchor bolt type (like Ingalls) are the more accepted kind.
When you correct your camber, it's best to leave about 1 degree of negative camber. It won't do much more damage to your tires, and you won't smack your fenderwell with your control arms (0 camber usually does this). An alternative is to hammer out the fenderwell, but that can cause rust issues if you don't repair cracked paint afterward.

i have Tein S Tech springs on stock shocks and it rides very smooth. No problems so far and ive had em on for about 4 months now.
