f22a1 + m2b4

my tranny went out and i found a tranny online from a 98-01 prelude.
just from reading the ad it says that its a m2b4 tranny and i was wondering if i could bolt it to my f22.
if thats not possible could i take the gears from it and rebuild my f22 trans with them?

it should bolt right up.. i think of it this way: people run h22 with f22 trannys so why cant it be reversed!

H/F trans are all interchangeable on H/F motors. The only difference between the H and the F is that you have to tap two or three forgot three holes for the trans for it to mount up to the stock passenger side mount.

The M2B4 is not the 98-01 transmission.

The M24 is the JDM LSD unit from the 92-96 Prelude. I'd double check the ad to make sure that everything checks out.

Oooh yea didnt see that. Good call Warrior. Make sure you are not getting an ATTS trans. Those suck ass for our cars weighs a lot more too.

if i remember right, it's like some stability system. it came on the prelude sh.

Well it does say m2b4. So it is LSD. The ATTS trans code is m2u4. So taht m2b4 is fine. Should bolt right on with the tapping of the holes.
