ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

we did a swap in my brother CB and had to modify the exhaust to accommodate the new engine, soo we just ran a str8 pipe to the rear section of the exhaust system, it had a nice sound but still kinda loud, a cpl months later he's hiflow*egay* cat came in soo i took it down to the muffler shop and got it installed and i swear it made no difference in sound

it depends...if it is just a pipe that would make it really loud. However, if there is a resonator inside, that will help to make the sound quieter. I have a high flow resonator for sale in my thread if ur interested ;P

I ran one just like that for a while. For the price it's definitely worth it. It'll make it a bit louder, but it's not too bad.

You live in Quebec where it is not nesscary but if you come to Southern Ontario with that test pipe they can impound your car as quick as you blink an eye.
^^^ just a heads up if you ever come over to Toronto and such.

But hmm looks pretty good if u don't need to get smog tested. beware if the shipping price is all i can say and make sure they don't raise it on you after you got it. goodluck

i have a high flow cat from ebay and it makes it a lot louder well at least for me it did. and it gave me a raspy sound when just driving around town but it sounds nice when you gas it down the free way haha.

I have almost the exact same one I bought from Ebay several years ago. As it is just a straight through pipe there is only one advantage. If you get stopped and they inspect under the car it does appear that you have a converter, which means you are somewhat legal. If they look and see a straight pipe your good for a ticket or equipment summons
