Help needed

90 accord with H22 swap. The battery went dead while on vacation. I tried to jump it and now it won't start...will turn over but sounds as if battery is dying...whats up? I need help asap.

pretty old I think. It was there when the car was purchased. going to slap the battery out of my other accord in and see what happens.

My main question is can you fry the ecu or alternator when jumping a car?

i jumped my car when i left the ligts on and nothing happened to mine.as long as you didnt put pos on neg vise versa

mine also jumps perfectly fine wheni left my lights when i was at school. r the dash lights really dim or do they look fine?

if you had to jump it and it wont work now, then its probably dead or on its last legs. Because when u jump it, it should have recharged itself through route of the alternator or something. But if it wont work second time around, then ya most likely its gone. If you want a good battery, look into an Optima RedTop, its got 800 CCA, more than enough power to start up that H22 of yours....AND it comes with a 6 year warranty, 3yr free replacement, i know cause i got one haha, but well worth it IMO

As you said yourself swap the battery with your other car. Any top post battery will work and see if it fires up. If it does then yea you just found your problem. If it doesnt start checking for spark and fuel.

Ya going to try today. Hopefully it works.
