i have a 92 accord ex auto and when i get on the gas good the tach goes up to like 4k rpm and then it bounces all over the place and if i stay on the gas it doesnt shift when it is suppose to it keeps going and then it back fires and then shifts into second and then it seems like there is a govoner that kicks in when im in second...i know its a bad discription but any help would be great thanks

if that doesnt work, which it should, i just did it to mine, graph your torqe/hp ratio on a dyno and then find the amplitude of your new cosine graph of the torque... it should work.. lemme know how it goes..
p.s. this is what part of the alphabet would loook like if q and r were illiminated

okay, i know this might sound really dumb. but check your coolant levels, bleed, top off and check for leaks. even the most miniscule leaks will cause all kinds of crazy sh*t to happen. i had a tiny little leak from that small house on the thermostat housing that goes up and God knows, i forgot, but my dad's the mechanic, and he said, "oh, there's your problem." and i was like, "get the f*ck outta here, a leak...is causing my transmission to be ***?" but lo and behold, he cut it, moved it down, reclamped it. i started, drove and never had the crazy bouncing tach again. have since replaced every hose in my system and still running strong.
just a thought though, ignore if you've done that already.
*edit* haha, there's a small house on my thermostat housing! lol, i guess i meant hose. its 9 in the morning and my coffee isn't working.
