ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

No, not hard to change, its on the firewall under the emissions box, back and to the left of the throttle body.

do you think that is the problem? it pulls to 4000 then falls off, like no power after 4000...and a lil hesitation on the low end

Honestly, I don't know. I'd have to know much more about your car, and how and when it started happening. But fuel filters aren't too expensive, though I'd recommend you use OEM only.

it looks new so i dont think that is it.....my car pulls hard to 4K, but then falls off and i cant figure it out, i mean it keeps reving to 7 but no more power after 4K...could the little black box by the battery have anything to do with it? i mean the car runs good til about 4K than feels like its starving...could that little secondary butterfly by the battery not be opening? thanks for the help guys....think a after market intake will solve that?

secondary ignition as in the external coil itself? ive changed the plugs, and rotor...but sometimes my car runs like a bat outta hell, but then it starts hesitating and jerking at low RPMs and the car starts jerking like if im cruising in 5th gear and just hit the gas a lil it jerks...and like if im standing still at idle, and hit the gas hard, it will sputter at low rpm's then goes to redline like no problem...somone please help...im tired of spending unecessary stuff, its getting aggravating....thanks guys....

if you need a fuel filter, and your car came with a bosch one then only a bosch filter will fit, trust me i went to honda and got an oem one that didn't fit for some reason. the Bosch part # is 71504 for the filter.

I will ask you this. Are you throwing any CEL, and how is your basic maintenance on the car.

No CEL, thats whats baffling me ...i changed the plugs, cap and rotor, but i havent changed the plug wires....they DO look kind of old, they are grey and all dirty, you think that might have something to do with it?
