ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    Heat trouble

This morning was really cold, and I can't get enough heat.

Fan works great I mean air is being blown, but I get minimal hot air ! It's set to the hotter position but I don't get only hot air it's like 70% cold air and 30% hot air...

Is it a coolant issue or a thermostat issue or a heater issue

    plz help!

did you check your coolant levels? If the coolant is low, then there wont be enough to flow through the heater core, and produce heat.

Hey man I looked at your cb7 that's for sale, the engine bay shot are great but I found something that differs from mine and yours

There's that big radiator hose that goes staright in the motor and it got some sort of GREEN connector that plugged in it ! I look at yours it looks fine and I look at mine and the connector is there but there's only one of the 2 wires that are still connected to the .switch. d'you think that could be my problem

First check your coolant level. There is a cap on your radiator open it and see if its full. Next thing I would look at if that is full would prob be that heater valve and see if its opening all the way to let the coolant into the heater core. Also hows your engine temp.

I have the same sort of problem, there is no heat when my car is on even when i have the heater at max heat, even when the car has been running for quiet a while its stillcold and it still has the auto choke on..... Like after a half an hour of running it sitsat 1200rpms LOL.....

anyways i notice that my temp needle doesnt go toi the normal spot it usually stays quit low n when on the freeway is goes to the cold position.
