ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!
Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956
Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)
Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.
These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.
1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.
2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.
3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.
4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.
The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.
The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

Go one up better, and get an H23 DOHC VTEC, more tractable engine, even if its rated only at 200PS and 220Nm..
it kicks the shit out of a CD6 H22a, unless ur running an H22 from a prelude.
here in Malaysia, the H23 DOHC VTEC is going waaaaaayyyyy cheaper than an H22a AUTOMATIC.. the manual is much more expensive..if ur lucky enuf to stumble upon one, that is..
my 2cents..

Have you actually run an F22A Accord? I bet it would be closer than you think.
Besides, the F22A will respond much better to mods.

The real issue is how it does against a bolt on F22A for the same money.
Of course he can do what he wants, but I already know the answer.

f23 sucks.... and i have one right now
the response to modifications are minimal. unless u get good internals than pnp and bolt ons suck for are car. f23's are the nice ppl movers, not meant for power.
they do have some perks. strong iron sleeves for easy boosting. k20 size cyl heads make for a wide range of comp ratios. the cheapness of them makes them look very nice as well.
but in the grand scheme, stick to your engine and throw an h23 head on it. or if u want the swap, h22 or h23 are relativly cheap.
fyi: f23a1 make 150/150; with a manny: 125-130hp; auto: 110-115
Webb cams do regrinds for 350 ish
everything-honda.com has several f23 projects including just cams, np and such

The sleeves on the F22 are just as strong...they are both ductile iron.
I don't know how much you have looked around the board, but there are several peeps putting down over 300WHP reliably on stock sleeves.
I don't think I have heard a report of a cracked one yet.
You have more miles, but that is more likely to result in ring landing stress than sleeve issues. You need to do a compression and leakdown test to see what is up, maybe replace the pistons.
Honestly though, if your block is strong, it shouldn't be much of an issue, and then you will be $250 further ahead.

Bringin' this post back from the dead!
Why couldn't you just use the f23 bottom end and slap a f22a4/6 head on it and be done.
You'd have a bigger bore and longer stroke with an awesome cylinder head!
Do some port and polishing. throw in a cam...
Tell me why this couldn't work or why it wouldn't be better than the f22a4/6 bottom end.
Thanks
Dan
