ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

    Motor Mount help.................

Hi, I been search the forums for two day now and still having found the answer or I over look it. I'm getting ready to swap to a h22a + LSD + Tranny into my 92 accord ex 5 speed, now my question is should I used the oem mount in which that what I see people are doing and using urethane. I have been looking for a pro mount to used and have not been able to find, I try hasport but say they are for EGH1 didn't if they would work. any help plz.....

you use your stock f series mount on the tranny. the prelude one is to tall. your going to have to drill out two wholes and tap them for the f-series to fit. make sure to do it right. cus when i did it we stripped both wholes cus we didnt do it right and had to re tap it to a bigger size bolt. there will be two like round circles that your drill out and tap. you cant miss them, but just to be sure line up the f series mount just to be safe.
I won a game of connect four in only three moves

Exactly. There is no need for an aftermarket mount. The urethane only stiffens it, it's not a necessity (I'm just about to install urethane filled mounts, and I've had my swap for almost 4 years now)

Yes, I see that is the best way from my reading, i went a head and got some urethane insert. I know my wife going to kill me all this stuff showing up at the door. Man I will be glad when I leave from Afghan to get started on this project. I my try to do it myself are find someone around there that I be able to work with, i thx that would be great to build your on ride.
