ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    Im loosing power.....WTF?

I was driving home today and i couldnt go over 50/60 mph. Then in every gear when i pressed the gas, no power as if i wasnt stepping on it. No rpm or nothing. If i pumped the gas pedal it seemed to pick up a little but not much. Damn i barely made it home.

when was the last time you had a tune-up. I think the problem is your distributor.

Just had one about 500 miles ago. New distributor cap wires etc. I usually get white smoke on start up. Could that be the problem?

Check to see if you have a restricition in your exhaust. I've seen this be a problem before in not letting the car go past a certain mph

This is a classic sign of a clogged catalytic converter. Check that out

It happens prob condensation from the morning. And I doubt its warm right now in the mornings up there in NY. Check your cat as already mentioned.

Definitely not morning, cold weather condensation. Smelly white smoke. Sweet? I dont know about that.
Gotta get the downpipe replaced by this weekend. Went to the muffler place yesterday. (Hearing noise) I guess they can check the cat while theyre at it.
                    Thanx again for replying guys.

I can cover my tail pipe with my hands and my motor will still run like nothings wrong. funny thing is that I can only see one tiny hole in it. alot of backpressure will kill the power of a motor. before I hit up a exaust shop after my swap, My down pipe was messed up and restricted it quite a bit, it felt pretty gutless, but there was still alot of air going through the exaust.

Took another ride today just to reconfirm, and yep......After driving about a mile or so it starts slowing down. As i press the gas down in each gear its kinda slow to respond. The rpms stay up slightly but doesnt respond to the reving. Then it may suddenly pop and respond. Weird
