ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

this helped!!! i have no more idle problems!! woot woot!!

i had/have this problem with my idle. it idle at 200 sometimes less. then i sent it to my mechanic to do work on the engine. he sugested to raise my idle i said OK. so then he raised it and it was around 800 and then it would raise and fall again. this lasted for like a month. now my idle its back where it started. it doesnt bother me at all. but is there seriously something wrong with my car?? PIC BELOW!

did you read the thread and try all the items mentioned?

More than likey though sounds like a bad IACV...as the FITV I believe is responsible for cold starts and IACV is responsible for warmed up running.

so have you found a fix fopr this yet or at least a reason for this cuz my cb7 is doin the same and has actualy stalled out on the road when coming to a stop. when in neutral it idles right around 100 200 rpms

but it seems like the engine was stil somewhat running just super uber slow cuz i just turned the key for not even a half a sec and it started right back up

it didnt seem to even have to turn over

My crap has a rough idle and when I turn the lights on it gets worse, maybe its the alternator?

I checked the fast idle valve and its tight, this morning it did the weirdest thing, turned it on and it idled up then down and turned off. It did it 4 times then it stablized like normal. I think im gonna clean out the throttle body and see if that works
