ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.
2 of 2 < >

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

Wow... I do believe that is an F series that I've never seen before! It's not the SiR motor that you think it is. That thing is pretty much a 2.0L version of our F23A... a standard Accord motor. It'll have less torque than a USDM F23, and probably makes the same 150hp. Certainly not a bad motor, but it's not a performance motor by any means. If you bought it under the impression that you were getting the SiR motor, you'll be rather disappointed. If you were led to believe that you were purchasing the SiR motor, then you have a lawsuit on your hands!

Good luck with it. I hope to see it in person some day! I'm in South Jersey myself, but I work up near Perth Amboy on occasion.

Thats one of the main reasons you never see companies like Spoon or Trust etc. drop the conservative F20 Sohc or even the weaker F18 engine for a H22 etc and mate it to the 4WD system. It will never perform like a WRX in a drifting event Honda built it's 4WD system mainly for safety rather than performance.

yerp, honda's 4WD system aint that capable, actually, its essentially a dual pump system, not a full-on torsen type..

some peeps have dropped in the B18c into an RTSi civic, but the 4WD diff cant cope.. but im planning on dropping an H22 into my mums 4WD ody..

the F20B was offered in the CF9 Accord here in Malaysia, the F23 offered in the same gen CG2, i think.. and also the RA6 ody (2nd gen)

I'm not sure how to go about saying this, but I believe you've been misinformed about your new motor. The F20B SOHC does have the 85 bore and 88 stroke BUT it has a 9.5:1 CR, not 11.0:1. It makes 150HP/6100 and 137TQ/5000. You can read more about it here (second post):
                http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=39834

I think someone gave you some wrong figures It's not a bad motor at all, you're going to have alotta fun w/ the 88mm stroke

11:1 is pretty high for a single cam. I didnt kno they hav a Sohc Vtec f20. I thought it was Sohc n-vtec F20a then Doch F20B

There were SOHC F20a And DOHC F20a. The f20b is the destroked version of the H22A.

The mount is correct. You shouldn't need any custom mounts for that motor.

Also, from what I could find, the VTEC motor is the 150hp motor. That is NOT the SiR motor (which was DOHC)

Motor is on and now im having idling trouble im thinking the manifold is not compatible or throttle body.

Also my O2 sensor is not plugged on could the be the idling problem?
