ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

please help, f22a6 to f22b1 wont start

alright guys, i need some help. i just did an engine swap from my f22a6 to a f22b1, only because i needed an engine and couldnt find anything but that around my area. well anyways, ive dropped in in and hooked everything up. i do have the ecu and everything. lets see. im using the a6 wire harness, with the a6 ecu. my problem is i cant get it to start. it will rotate, but wont start. it also back fires a little while trying to crank it. ive checked my ing. timing, changed my disturb. everything i can think of. can some one guide me to a solution. thanks

ive already checked my firing order, ive switched my disturb.
what im going to do next is switch my wire harnes to the b1 harnes and put the b1 ecu in. does anyone know if i have to rewire anything with the ecu, im not worried about vtech rith now, but if i can get it hooked up that would be more my liking. so what pins do i need to switch thanks.

I as well have the issue of my car not starting. Check my thread out. Everything should work fine if you connected it all properly. Just make sure to do a basic check around the engine bay.

      Fuel pressure?
      Main relay?
      Spark?
      Oil pressure?
      Timing?
      Grounds?
      Battery?
      Compression?

Just a few things to run by yourself to make sure everythings fine!
P.S. still cant get my car started. I figure its a vacuum issue now.

You do realize that this thread is six years old, right?
My Members' Ride Thread - It's a marathon build, not a sprint. But keep me honest on the update frequency!
