ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

you gotta cut holes in the interior then run it from the top of the rear struts in the trunk.

It would be best if you put it on a lift, instead of jacking it up. Also you dont have to cut holes, with just a few pulls you too can be without those 2 panels.

i just installed it on my driveway - relatively flat! hope nothing happens....

I have the rear upper struts installed by cutting a triangle area to access the bolts

how should i get at the rear lower struts? can i put the rear on the curb and attack it there? but it looks to be holding onto the tires -- so should it be lifted up then?

The rear lower actually does nothing for us. The car has no need for added rigidity there. Unless you want to install it for the appearance factor, there's really no point.

Also, if that bar you have there is a cheapie $20 bar, you probably won't notice much with it (or the front, if it's the same type). I had a Matrix bar that looked similar, and it did nothing... well, I guess it did SOMETHING... it bent

If you want inexpensive quality, Megan Racing is the way to go for strut bars.

i disagree first off, and my three piece strut went for 90. I drove on the front and rearuppers today - feels fu**'n awesome... ive never turned like this before - i check it once in a while for bends but its seems doing fine --- if i have it, why not use it? it will feel better lowered and dont hate on the cheap struts they're cool (as long as you have the front and rear) you feel naked when you only have the front....

and dude-- they work fine is what im saying-- i'll give you a test drive to prove the advance... turning 90 degrees is very responsive and launches are even and flat... its up to you if your willing to throw down the cash... its worth it unless you can make your own

I have cheap option racing front upper, rear upper, and rear lower bars and i could only tell a marginal difference, mainly with the rear upper bar, the other two were bairly noticeable. It does seem like it handles better though.

And a test drive wouldn't prove anything unless you did before and after.

launching if you dont have LSD makes one wheel pull leaving the other on the ground almost... the struts "tie" the two wheels keeping them synchronized

im no genius okay but thats my logic
