both h22 and h23 heads will fit on an f22 block. both require custom work. the h23 is much easier, and better IMO anyways. also, f22 header will not fit on an h22 head, not that that would make any power at all..Originally posted by JDMef9

Ahh didnt see that posted yes Both H series heads will fit as mentioned by mondo. The bad part is that I dont see any use in the h22 head honestly since the F block wasnt made to rev up to what it is unless you build it like hondafan81. BUt its still useable. werd on that NAiL05..the h23 has a similar rev range to the f22, so, with some better bearings, or even a built block, the f22 can easily handle the revs for which the h23 head was designed to take advantage of. it doesnt need any building, but it oculdnt hurt.. i've been looking for h23 heads at the local salvage yards in the past couple of weeks
no luck so far. all the h23 lude blocks have been stripped.
