ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

    "Squeegy" noise when turning

Here's a strange one... about 6 months ago, my car started making a noise that sounds like a squeegy on a glass window (with a little "waver") when I turn... it's hard to tell where it's coming from. It doesn't happen all the time.

When it does happen, it lasts at least a second, but never more than three seconds, usually around two. It's usually about a third of the way into sweeping turns about 20-30 mph. It seems to happen on certain corners more than others.

    Anybody?

i got that same crap going on. i told my meachanic about it too. i couldnt figure out where it was coming from either.

at 1st i thought it was the brake pads that were worn out rubbing up against the rotors but its not.

i was having the same problem but then had all my belts (including timing) and waterpump replaced and it went away. so i think it is a belt thing.

                i got it too.
i think its my ps and one of my tie rod end boots is shot. but the sound comes from behind the steeringwheel so .. i'm pretty sure its ps.
uh... if by overboosted you mean "right the fuck on" then, sure, it is.

Well I hope I am not offtopic, but It might be the rubber gasket where your front struts mount.(not sure exacly what it is called)I had the same problems with bumps and corners w/little bumps. It was worn So I replaced it and Now it is fine.

                      Just my 2 cents

sounds like you need to quit dinking around and replace your joints, have fun getting into an accident if you don't

I'm almost certain it is related to the power steering system, either through low fluid or worn belts. Have fun!
