ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

    Very First Mods...

    Hey Everyone.

Already, so far, This is what I have planned for the CB7... I am going to get pictures in a little bit to throw them up here, but so far, this is what is in the Works. Since the car has no Interior, it is easy for these...

Battery Re-Location to trunk. (Thinking I will need 0GA Power Wire).
Main Fusebox Re-Location to under the glove box
Running the Front Electrical Harness through the fenders, to save space, and keep the engine bay clean.
Installing a Fuel Cell (Small Gallon) in the Spare Tire Well

    What do you think??

If you goiing for looks I would still throw in a nice intake, and a new header and maybe a custome heat shield that may look good depending on how you do it and who does it.

Oh it has nothing to do with looks... Looks don't bother me too much, and the car has a little bit of rust, so it isn't like it will be that much to look at.

I am looking at plain functionality of everything. The battery in the back will help with weight, and putting a racing fuel cell in the back and removing the gas tank would be one step closer to turning the vehicle into a racing vehicle.

My goals for this car are:

              Winter Beater
If it Survives Winter Beating... Throw some performance mods on, and take the car to the circuit every weekend to do some racing.

Dont use your money on that yet, do an exhaust like apexi or think its greddy do a motor or head swap, along with getting an intake and a header for your motor of choise then you'll have fun.

I would do a motor swap, but that would cost a lot of money for nothing right now, it is only a beater.

The mods listed above would cost me virtually nothing. The car is strippec completely down to its chassis and body panels.

There is no interior, there is no seats, there is no dashboard... So doing things like running 0GA for Power for Battery Relocation won't cost me anything (I Get power wire for nothing).

Fuel Lines for the Fuel Cell... I work at Midas, I can get fuel line pipe for nothing.

As for the Harness... Putting it through the fenders is only 10 minutes longer than running it through the firewall... So it isn't like it is a bit thing.

I would do Exhausts, but I will tell you something... on a Stock Motor, changing the exhaust line, doesn't do a lot. If you remove the Cat, maybe... a little bit more with the muffler, but I will say that, having an "exhaust system" with a stock car, is a pointless thing to have... Unless there is something that I don't know about with a F22A Engine. For the cost of a full Exhaust System, I could buy a Motor... and Boosting is more applicable to me, since if the motor blows, well... I can get some more for a really really really good price.

I am going to get some pictures today... It is a somewhat good Day.

There won't be an Extra Fuel Cell... the gas tank is going to be removed.

Nail05, What are some of the basic bolt ons that you are talking about. Besides the Intake / Exhausts, I am figuring you are going to suggest some other things, like maybe larger TB, or things of that nature.

The CB7 isn't my main car, so I'm not going to throw mad money at it... My focus to is Turbo the CG3, which is an easy $2,000, so everything that is going on the CB7 is something that won't cost a lot of money, or are parts that I know I can get, or have.
