ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

    F22a1 turbo setup questions

I am kinda new to this, So if anyone could help me out it would be much appreciated.
Ok, My brother will be installing my turbo setup sometime in the near future, And I have all the turbo components( turbo, intercooler, manifold, piping, oil lines, ect.) I am planning on running 8psi wich is what the internal waste gate on the turbo is set at. Is it a big deal if I leave the stock injectors, or do I need larger? Also I need some feedback as far as getting a chipped ecu for an f22a1 and what will happen if i use the stock ecu?
Any feedback will be greatly appreciated...

stock injectors- you will run lean under boost and your motors goes boom
    stock ecu- see stock injectors

you need a chipped ecu or safc or fmu. you also need bigger injectors

most people upgrade to the 450cc dsm injectors, and usually a fuel system upgrade is recommended. also, its best to get a chipped p06 and to then get it tuned somewhere reputable, as if you do not, then bad things have been known to happen.

DSM is probably the cheapest route.

Thats cool, I can get the dsm 440cc injectors for almost nothing, and I can get my hands on the p06 at the local junk yard, But as to getting it chipped does anyone recommend anywhere to get my hands on a chip that will support my setup? I just want to get everything ready for when he comes up here to NY from Oklahoma city. He will only be here for about 5 days so I want everything I will need.
              Thanks for the help
