ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

    fuel pump going out?

When I am at low throttle at around 2-3k rpms, the car will sometimes feel like its loosing power and then getting it back, (feels like im moving the gas pedal back and forth). I replaced the fuel filter and that didnt help, also fuel injector cleener didnt help. It only does this while under light acceleration or while mantaining speed. when idleing it occasionaly acts like it is going to cut out but then it comes back to normal. no CEL.

if you dont mind me asking, what kind of gas do you use? we use premium in my accord, and it to me lasts longer, and the car runs stronger on prem. also if your doing a lot of street driving, it wastes more gas than highway driving. because your stopping and going a lot.

Not always true just wasting money. Good for cleaning fuel system though. 89 should be the max running on an f22a since the premium doesnt do much. For your vibration have you checked your engine mounts? As for gas mileage are your throwing any check engine lights? Thats abnormally low mileage for half a tank.

the vibration is the engine. I will be accelerating smoothly and then all of a sudden the engine will act like its deing and then it starts shaking the car back and forth and smooths out again if I get on it or i get above like 3k. I have no bad motor mounts and no CEL.

Hmm...similar problem a buddy is having with his Talon. The vibration was fixed by replacing the shot motor mounts and adjusting the idle. Still gets horrible MPG and loss of power. Had new o2, fuel system cleaner galore, fuel filter, etc. etc.
Next on the list to check is cat converter and coilpacks, as mentioned above by others. I'd love to find out what fixes it for the OP.

Had a similar problem with my integra. Turned out to be the O2 sensor.

well since this has been brought back, this happend once in the last 500 miles. It has been going away for awhile and then coming back . I think I can hear little pops occasionaly. Ill be doing a motor swap as soon as I fugure out what im going to do about my transmission, so this might never get solved. if All had gone to plan Id be swapping now but how often does stuff go along with your plan? lol
