ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    blow it or save it

Waiting on an H that’s coming soon. So now I am left with the choice of blowing my motor or keeping it and building it on the side.

Some have told me to hook some nitrous to it and just blow it to hell. Than others have told me to build it and boost it and put it in another car.

    Any advice ?

boost and build will steal the money from your h22 project

i say take it out. and make a buggy with it
uh... if by overboosted you mean "right the fuck on" then, sure, it is.

well im not a beleiver of pointless distruction of a motor someone else or yourself might need one day , just stick it under a tarp and trust me some day u will need it or find someone that needs it . unless u will actually get alot of benefit out of blowing it up pointlessly . ?? Just 1 opinion ..

What if the H22 goes to shit after swaping, and you have no engine cause you blew it up :P. I myself would probably sell it to someone who could use it. Might as well get some cash to help out with the swap.

don't count your eggs before they hatch. wait til the h22 is in your car and runs before you do anything. even then, i wouldn't blow it up. things like that always come in handy for the future. later.

I suggest that you sell it whole or for parts and use that money for your H22 or mods for it

nuthin should go wrong if u buy from the right guy and have warranty and check the engine urself. buy it from sum1 off the street then yeah hold on to the f22a till the car is up and running. treat the h22a like it's an f22a. u dont have any h22a if ur engine have problem. fix it. just buy a really good h22a from a good place.

I would just wait till the h22 is up and running, then get rid of the f22... Sell it whole or part it out..

my father swapped out a rebuilt engine in his toyota about 3 years ago, the one that blew up he's still picking parts off of, just recently he needed the old fuel rail and the manifold.
