ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    Decisions, decisions

Ok so I've got a 92 accord dx 4 door
I've just got a short ram intake on it so far. I want to upgrade more but it's a slow process since money is short.
What would you guys recommend, keep putting on little stuff or save for an h22? I also need some new wheels and tires as my tires suck.

    thanks

get tune up and tires. and just wait till u get a better job or win the lottery. no offense but what else is there to say? if money is slow it's not worth it.

before you go for BIG power..read H22...get your tires, and suspension, and brakes redone (stainless steel brake lines make a big diff).

Also check all your ball joints, they always tend to go in CB's.

Then save a hell of money cause a good engine swap with an engine and tranny rebuild is quite pricy.

      enjoy the ride.

i remeber nails saying this, so ill repeat it, loose weight its free speed and also remove unessesary things from car will save weight and also save you gas.
also remove power steering and a/c will free up a lil bit of power and remove weight
get better power to weight ratio and not to mention your corner better too.
not much you cant do with out money

Not my fault my dick only fits magnums.

Depending on what you want is how you should go. From an F to H think about what you will need for that swap and money it will cost ( it's true you, get what you pay for ). It doesn't have to happen overnight. Waiting sucks but in the end it will be worth having no money wasted on duplicate parts ( haveing to buy parts for the F temporarily just to replace them on the H22 if you swap it ) and your CB done right the first time.
          3 CB's gone....

Still miss the CB though......maybe one day.

Ok, thanks guys. I think I might get some stainless lines and then do suspension/wheels and tires as suggested.

i'm doing suspension work as i'm waiting for my graduation money.
getting a rear sway bar and just got my new shocks n struts in the mail today
                now for new wheels/tires.

i say go suspension and brakes.
if money is short go for a f22b instead of h22.
uh... if by overboosted you mean "right the fuck on" then, sure, it is.

what kind of suspension are you getting?(shocks, struts, sway bar) I've got an upper front strut bar and I'm thinking about getting the front and rear suspension techniques sway bar set.

you can even save for some exhaust, a cat and catback will fit with an h22 or f22, suspension wont make a difference either so coilovers can make your accord more fun to drive for now, build a decent car with the f than swap in the h, makes the wait not as bad
