ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

You have an automatic. That means you already have a torque converter. It's not something that bumps power... just part of the transmission setup.

An underdrive pulley won't make that much of a difference.

You have an H22A. It's a high-revving Honda performance motor. The motor's strength lies in the top end. You'll NEVER get the low end grunt of a Nissan V6. The only option you really have would be to do some major internal work and increase the displacement as much as possible... or add a supercharger. Unfortunately, both options are pretty expensive (no current supercharger kit for the H22 will fit in the CB7 engine bay... the Procharger is the only one that might work, and nobody has done it yet... yet... I plan on it!)

Get a timing light and retard your timing a bit. That will give you a little more low end...
Get a smaller exhaust diameter (2.25" or less...) You'll lose performance, but you'll have more low end. Wider piping brings more power, but it moves the powerband up a bit as well.
Get a smaller (or stock) intake setup.
Get a P28 ECU and have it professionally tuned with your goals in mind.

      procharger..?

you mean that intake with blowing motor infont so engine gets more airs..?

      and what about ITBs..?
i know they are expensive but they really boost the low end..?
how much gain can i expect w/h22a..?
BC some times i can finds custom ITBs for hondas for about 400usd..

Then you have to tune like crazy for them. And there is always the problem with no vacuum.

if you want low end power put your f22a back in

h22's have vtec, vtec is made for power, in high rpms, thus rev happy.
