ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    Modding

So I want to mod the car Daily Driver.
    but yeah
i'm getting a h22 this summer and i want to do some mods to of course increase the power/driveablity of the car.

i'm going to do suspension, wheels, and window tint(off topic btw)

so i was wondering what things could i get for the car NOW and use and KEEP using when i swap the f22 out.
    thanks

Saving money is not an option because i'm just going to get a Check once i graduate to put toward my car and don't really need to save money to buy stuff then i just want to use the stuff i buy in the near future.
uh... if by overboosted you mean "right the fuck on" then, sure, it is.

A cold air intake would all be the same. Cat-back exhaust would stay the same.

Well I think you have the best idea with investing in suspension, as I had a cb7 for like 3-4 years and I did nothing to the engine but spent the bulk on the suspension. A good full coilover system will be able to change the dynamics of the car dramatically, and even with a stock engine in the corners your usually faster. As my old CB7(no engine mod) had skunk2 coilovers and it makes the car so much more nimble as opposed to the stock suspension. Plus once you get that h22 swap your gonna need to do work on suspension eventually, so you can add on from there and see what works for you.

Suspension FTW... anything exterior, or interior wise would be a great start.

Get an H22/23 intake manifold and throttle body. It will give you great gains and of course, is reusable for your swap.

Intake and exhaust will be too narrow... they will restrict the H22. You want a 3" intake and a 2.5" exhaust (you probably have a 2.5" intake and a 2.25" exhaust).

If he gets a swap, he's already getting the H22 intake manifold, and the whole thing, not just the plenum. That would be a waste.

There aren't many things you can put on the H22 from the F22. You could upgrade your ignition system to some MSD components. It won't really add power until you're pushing enough for it to matter, but it's a transferrrable upgrade (you'll have to convert the JDM H22 distributor to external coil though...)

Clutch and flywheel can be transferred, but you're probably best waiting until the motor is new to put that stuff in there... no use installing worn stuff.

You could upgrade your radiator. Again, no more power, but it looks nice, and it will keep your H22 cool!

Honestly, your best bet is to just work on suspension, wheels, tires, brakes... if that all sucks, you won't feel the full potential of the H22.
