Ok well to start things off,
I have a 1991 EXR 2 dr, when i first bought the car it burned oil and when cold smoked like a burning house, the minute the temps came up to normal operating temperature the smoke would stop, aside from the classic honda 7000rpm shift puff, so as time went on i decided that i needed to fix that polutionous problem, so my father and i thought we had it narrowed down to the cylinder head... which we then went ahead and swapped for one with less k's and pressure tested to be ok, needless to say it still smokes like crazy when its cold and stops when it warms up... weird... but now that the head is complete and swapped, all vac lines correct, timed properly, it seems to bog sporaticly, expecially noticable shifting into second gear, we have gone over several differant things and cant seem to find why its bogging and why its still smoking....
does anyone have any input or possible ideas as to why it bogs and or why it smokes?
any help would be greatly appreciated.
