ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

If the motor is already built for turbo (meaning low-compression forged pistons, forged rods, and at the very least a fresh valvetrain), then I would say go turbo. No need to waste a built motor! Unless you don't want the extra hassles turbo brings (turbo IS a bit more maintenance-heavy than a healthy stock H22). In which case, you could probably find a buyer very quickly for the motor.

If you want to go turbo (which will make more power for less money than an H22 if done right) then you may have to build your own kit.

I'm not sure how the exhaust ports are on the F20A, so you may or may not be able to use an exhaust manifold from a Mitsubishi Eclipse (like they do on the F22A). A t3/T04 hybrid turbo is your best bet, though you could probably get by with a larger T3 turbo... Or, if you go the Mitsubishi route, the "big" 16G turbo from the Evo is an excellent choice (also on a 2.0L motor, so it's a decent match for displacement).
Search on the site for "DSM" turbo kits and you'll find all the information you need for building your own setup.

What has been done to this F20A? "Prepped for turbo" could mean anything from the lips of a shady seller. Be sure you KNOW exactly what has been done to this motor before you assume. Ask for receipts, if you don't know firsthand. What is inside that block makes a BIG difference on what you can do with it!

      Thanks for all that.
Ive talked to the guy and he can tell me everythings he has done to it. So far hes told me alot about it and everything done to it. But Im kinda new to all this and i dont remember all that great of an amount of what he has done. So ill findout soon what exactly was added and how much more i need to have turbo put on it. Ive never heard anything about a mitsubishi head going on a f20a accord or anything. Im going to do some research and find out were i can get the turbo. thanks for everything.

he isnt talking about a mitsubishi head going on a f20a he is talking about the turbo itself. im not sure about the f20a but the f22a engines are very easily fitted with mitsubishi turbo parts by altering the turbo manifold slightly
