ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

the prelude f22a1 has an p12 ecu which boosts it to 135hp. i think the prelude weighs a bit more than the dx accord which balances them out a bit. i put a p12 ecu in my dx and noticed a bit more power. the power seems to climb further towards redline and no speed govenor which is nice if you want to go over 115mph. i would have to pick the prelude for the win but anything is possible.

It would probably be in the hands of driver's experience.

My friend has a 92 S automatic and pulled away from me in my 5-speed. From a dig or a roll, it still is much faster than my CB7 EX. I have an AEM cold air intake and his car is totally stock. The prelude is a faster car, even with the weight and auto tranny.

lol wow...Prelude S shouldnt even be that fast lol especially in auto form my buddy had one lol. Its a drivers race as mentioned both motors are close make power in different rpm since I would think there ECU tunes are diff. So yea thats my conclusion.

At Dragway 42, there was a silver 94 5-speed Prelude S with Short ram intake, greddy exhaust, and DC headers and ran a flat 16. Thats faster than my SI, but my SI has problems that I really don't want to fix just yet.

I had a friend from a while back drive a prelude s 5 speed with intake, cat back, and 15 in kosei which were light as fuck. His car had a lil pep but I never had a chance to race him. Good autocross car though. More suspension than performance for him.

i rolled an prelude s from detroit to des moines and got to know it well. it had big dumb chrome 17's, two 12's in the trunk, and typical bolt ons. it was still pretty quick and when i got back home to my cb7 it felt roughly about the same. my cb7 would probally took it in a race cuz my car was set up more practical. when i got my p12 and cat-back i would of tore it a new one. too bad my wifes cousin wrapped it around a telephone pole so we will never know.

Yeah, I should probably take into note that my CB7 has 220k and that prelude S only has 97k.

^You should do some last minute weight reduction- pass. and rear seats and everything in your trunk. If you have P/S, take the belt off. Advance your timing all the way @ the dizzy and run higher octane

You should be able to take the S
