ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    high vs low compression pistons

i am in the process of changing the forged high compression pistons to forged low pistons, does my h22a1 block need to be blueprinted again or kind the pistons be changed and block assembled again?this work is in my 92 accord wagon.the head is gettin a stage 3 head package.

Blueprinted again? If your gonna run high boost you need to sleeve the block. This topic has been covered a lot of times already.

my block is rebuilt/sleeved w forged high compression pistons

my mechanic said the pistons can be changed without blueprinting is this true?my h22a1 block is rebuilt, sleeved w/ forged 11:1 high compression pistons

It can be changed but lower comp might allow you to run slightly higher boost levels but sleeving the block is still safer since h22a sleeves are like the sleeves in the f22a.

h22a1 block has been resleeved with iron duct sleeves.

when a machine shop rebuilds an h22a1 block with forged high compression piston, isn't resleeving part of the process.i mean what sense would it make to put forged 11:1 pistons in a block if it isn't resleeved.

You can throw in type s pistons without resleeving and give you 11:1 compression so the answer is no. Depends on what type of work he did to the motor. If the block is already sleeved then your set.

my mechanic said its a racing h22a1 block.

the mechanic said at least $2000 worth of parts and work has been done.he pointed out to me the forged dome shape pistons(11:1).also,that all i needed to do was changed to some low comp. pistons and i can run high boost.
