Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

    I got a racer design muffler. I want to kno if its any good and how many horses does it increase

    you can get 12 horses easily!!! 15, if welded on and not clamped.





































































    Dont look into getting any HP from a muffler alone. You will just get a look and some sound.

              Go ahead and get a good header and preformance cat. with a cat back system and then you might be able to get some HP out of it. It may still not be much. but every little bit helps. And besides I hate it when a person welds (or clamps) a muffler on their car and claims their car has modded exhaust. Its upsetting. If your going to do anything to your exhause, do it right and all the way.

                yea get a full cat back with header if possible, a muffler alone wont do anything and if it does it would be like 1hp or 1/2 hp, lol

                  just like he said. and you should do exactly what everyone else is saying about not cheaping out. why buy just a muffler? go all out and get the whole exhaust set up for some real gains and real sound coming from your car. later

                    actually u should of figured an answer to this question sooner, cause it does take thought to type that up, member' your whole exhaust piping is like 1 1/2in diameter(someone correct me if i'm wrong), when u throw a larger pipe on it, all its going to do is 1. not add a single hp in my opinion, and 2. make a hell of a raspy sound, hence why domestic call us ricers or at least where i live
