Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

    help with exhaust choosing

    Alright i live in NYC and if you have a very loud exhaust you can get a fine ...so im asking for some suggestions on low volume exhausts w/o silencer. Please provide list if capable. Thank You

      Yup you could get a fine in NYC, Im from manhattan and I already made a thread in the beginner off topic section about how I hate NYC cops they just pulled me over this past saturday because my muffler was too loud so I got a summon for this stupidity. so make sure you get something good and quiet that doesnt attract this fawkers so good luck

          That's pretty quiet unless your WOT, and looks good too.

              i went apexi n1 full cat back and its pretty quiet when im cruiseing but when i get on it it opens up but not very loud

                dynomax is fairly quiet and resonable priced till you can get a full cat back

                  Get the Greddy Evo2 cat-back. Sweet deep tone,all stainless and mandrel bends. Thats what I have. Kinda pricey though/500ish.

                    i think imma go with the apexi n1 ...the only thing is that they dont sell the system entirely ...ill have to buy the tip and have custom piping and then add in a resonator

                          Apexi WS2 cat-back hands down its probably the most popular exhaust setup on these forums, queit, great preformance, looks good, decent price, and sounds beast in vtec. What more could you ask for? Search around RS*R ex-mag is pretty good to I woulda got that but its a bit more pricey. I purchased my exhaust at www.modacar.com took about 5-6 days to ship cost 470ish shipped.

                              Im in queens n it's a B$tch if you got a muffler. They see a dropped car, Music, or just basically anything that looks like it's on the import scene w/ a Young Dude. They gon stop you. Grimey ass Nigg@$. Out their like a HO, lookin for a quick Buck.

                              p.s. Some silencer mufflers is crazy loud. what's good with that. Steal Power, and sound loud , . BAD COMBINATION
