ok i know this isnt the right area for this thread but i cant seem to post it where it should be..... w/e
problem: alternator would work fine in park and at idle or when revving a little bit (<2000 rpm) but when driving it would give a weak output about 11.2-12.4v and it would almost put out 14v the rest of the time
solution: check the bolts holding the alternator on if they were missing *like the top one on my car* or loose the alternator will vibrate alot more than it should not giving the output it can. If you are missing a bolt a hardened zinc coated 3.5" or a 4" bolt 3/8 dia. will work from home depo
